“Aluminum Connectors” are a straight union hose connector that a duct gets clamped down onto without the need for special tools. Aluminum is a relatively soft, durable, lightweight, ductile and malleable metal that makes for an easy to handle product. Aluminum hose connections are used to connect or extend two hoses of the same ID size together. Once connected, the hoses are able to provide the necessary flow over longer sections. After inserting the hose cuffs around the connector, a clamp will be placed around the outside of the hose and connector, securing the equipment in place. The simple design offers a secure connection (when clamped down) that holds the tube firmly, but does not restrict flow.
